After hearing what Jesus said about marriage (Matthew 19:3-9), the disciples said, “If this is the case, it is better for a man not to get married” (v. 10). Indeed, Jesus taught some radical things about marriage. Most importantly, He taught that marriage is designed by God to be lifelong and permanent. God loves marriage, so much so that He gave strict laws that protect this sacred institution. Do we love marriage as much as God loves marriage?
